Tonight! Two Big Readings!

We just have too much zine and comix goodness lined up for you tonight! For your consideration, two fantastic readings to kick off your Zine Fest weekend in style! Comix or zines, its your choice!

First off, in downtown San Francisco:

Visit the Cartoon Art Museum for our third annual evening of live readings by some of the best indy-comics creators out there, including SFZF 2010 Special Guest Jesse Reklaw (10,000 Things To Do), John Porcellino (King-Cat Comics), Ed Luce (Wuvable Oaf), Jamaica Dyer (Weird Fishes), Hob (The Witness), Noah Van Sciver (Blammo), Susie Cagle (Nine Gallons), and Jonas Madden-Connor (Ochre Ellipse)! Come enjoy a glass of wine and experience comics in a whole new way!

• Friday, September 3rd, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m - Cartoon Art Museum - 655 Mission St between 3rd and New Montgomery
$5 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds) All proceeds benefit SFZF and CAM!

And across town, in the Mission:

Welcome the "our Other Weapon is a Zine" champs back to the City by the Bay for a radical reading on the eve of the Zine Fest! Some of our favorite zinesters just finished spreading the Zine Fest energy with a week-long, six-city reading tour of the greater Bay Area. "Our Other Weapon is a Zine" features contribution from terrific creators such as Tomas Moniz (Rad Dad), Dani Burlison & Leilani Clark (Petals & Bones) Andria Alefhi (We’ll Never Have Paris), and SFZF 2010 Special Guest Artnoose (Ker-Bloom!).
