Nidhi's exceptional debut graphic novel Pashmina, a tale about the hardship and self-discovery that is born from juggling two cultures and two worlds, has received glowing reviews from numerous publications. Her second graphic novel, Jukebox, about two cousins, Shaheen and Tannaz in San Francisco, is slated to release in 2020.

WORKSHOP & PANELS
////////// ////////////
11am - 1pm
Printmaking with Print Organize Protest
Printmaking has historically been able to connect folks with social activism in a tangible way. This drives community members to get involved and stand up against inhumane policies. The workshop will provide posters for silkscreening. Bring a t-shirt to be printed on!
The images will be geared toward climate change, with a donation jar for 350.org, an amazing organization fighting for climate justice.

1pm - 2pm
Creativity Explored Info Session
We have a panel with staff and artists at Creativity Explored and artist Lawrence Lindell, who led 2 weeks of zine-making workshops with CE artists. Creativity Explored is “committed to supporting people with developmental disabilities in their quest to become working artists, and to promoting their work as an emerging and increasingly important contribution to the contemporary art world.” They’ll be showcasing (and selling) all the zines they’ve made. Support them!

**2:30pm - 4pm**
