APAture is Kearny Street Workshop’s annual multidisciplinary arts festival celebrating emerging Asian and Pacific American (APA) artists of the San Francisco Bay Area. For 20 years, APAture has been a site of dialogue, collaboration, and political action between artists and community members around contemporary issues affecting the Asian and Pacific Islander community.
Monthly Zine Club @ Oakland Main Library
Hi, we're excited to announce our first ever zine club at Oakland Public Library. Starting in April, every third Thursday of the month, from 6-8pm, SFZF will have a zine club at Oakland Main Library.
NEXT MEETING on September 19!
We'll have some supplies, but you're welcome to bring your own.
It’s just a space for folks to gather and make zines and learn new ways to make zines. Basically, it’s a club to build community and work on art we wouldn’t if we were sitting at home, being tempted by chores, Netflix or a cat or four. RSVP
