CAPTION: Even the same family works the counter and tables. ...They’ve been here for almost thirty years. Panel Two: EDDIE is at the same counter, but now a man, CHARLES is behind the counter, preparing a receipt. A takeout bag sits on the counter between them. CAPTION: This is Charles, who usually has a ready quip. Surprisingly, he recognizes me even though I haven’t stopped by in a long while. Panel Three: A closer shot of CHARLES who is smiling lightly as he talks. CHARLES: Back then, you look like a boy. Now you look a little more like a man. Heh! CAPTION: Yep, same ol’ Charles.
