When is the festival?
SF Zine Fest is on Sunday, September 4 from 11am to 5pm.


How much does it cost to attend the festival?
The festival and all its programming are FREE.


Where is it?
The festival will be held at our NEW venue: City View at Metreon (135 4th St #4000, San Francisco, CA 94103). City View is located on the 4th floor of the METREON Shopping Center at 135 4th Street, at the corner of Mission and 4th Street, in San Francisco, CA.


Is the festival in person? What about Covid-19?
Yes, the festival is in person this year. Regarding Covid-19, we are taking several precautions, which you can read about here. Masks are required for all persons attending the festival.


Can I still apply to SF Zine Fest 2022?

Unfortunately, applications for our 2022 festival closed in June, and we are not accepting any more applicants. Our application will be open again in May 2023 for the 2023 festival.


Are there any pre-festival events I can attend?
YES! Please check out our programming page for our pre-festival events and after-party. We have events on August 27 and 28 and on September 3 and 4.

Is there any public transportation near your venue?
City View is centrally located in the heart of SoMa and is walking distance to several major BART, Muni, and bus stops. You can take the BART to Powell St. Station or New Montgomery Station, and then walk a block down to Market St.


Are there parking facilities on-site?
Parking is not permitted in the METREON/Marriott Loading dock area. However, the venue is located next to the 5th & Mission Garage. It is the largest public parking structure in the city, and it is open 24 hours a day.


How do guests access the venue?
City View is located on the 4th floor of the METREON and is accessible from the ground floor via 2 passenger elevators and escalators. There is ADA access from all building entrances as well.


Are animals permitted in the event space?
Animals are not permitted on Metreon property with the exception of guide dogs or service animals unless special arrangements have been made with Metreon Management.
