Thinking Captions 2026 will feature our Guest of Honor V. Vale and his invited guests Penelope Houston, Russ Forster and Joe Donohoe. Come experience their zines and learn their process as counterculture publishers in SF!

Kickoff Party
The annual SF Zine Fest kickoff party is for exhibitors, volunteers, and big fans of SFZF to gather, snack and have fun! We’ll be playing bingo with fun prizes including SFZF merch. Come enjoy the Mission: Comics and Art store!

SF Zine Fest After Party
Celebrate, relax, and party with zinemakers and zine aficionados at SF Zine Fest’s official after party, cohosted by The SpookyHaus at Fabulosa Books in the Castro. DJ Doll Parts will be playing music! Stop by and support the bookstore as well!

A monthly LGBTQIA zine-making meetup presented by SF Zine Fest in partnership with the Hormel LGBTQIA Center. Open to new and experienced zinesters. Tell your story, tell your truth!
