Screen Printing Demo w/ Yael of Print Organize Protest
Sun, Sep. 6 from 3-4 pm

Yael will show the basics of screen printing, including the supplies you’ll need, and took us through the process by making prints of two designs by artist Jordan Crane (@Jordan-Crane on Twitter). P.O.P. is entirely volunteer based. When P.O.P. does these events in person, they always have a donation jar out to raise funds for causes they are supporting.

Chute Studio

Riso Printing Demo w/ Chute Studio

Chute Studio in the collaborative Riso Studio of Amy Burek and Zach Clark, located in the East Bay of California.

Amy Publishes as Awkward Ladies Club Zach Publishes as National Monument Press. We both participate in fairs across North America.

Risograph is an automated duplication process, kind of like a photo copier that can screen print. 

Chute uses an MZ 1090, RZ 310, and several RZ220s.

We talk to local artists about a range of topics, including how they’re navigating through our current social, emotional, and political climates while being parents as well.
